Almost a couple of weeks since arriving home, and I’m beginning to digest the impact my experiences in Montreal have had on me.
Primarily, I’m reinvigorated towards the fundamental power and value of musical expression. Suoni Per Il Popolo epitomises such an ethos. It is not, in any way, a trend driven festival. June 12, 2012 Sarah Kenchington building her new instruments
In order to transport her instruments to Montreal, Sarah Kenchington had to re-build them so that they would fit into a travel case smaller than the British Airways maximum luggage dimensions.
Here she is testing out her new instruments with Daniel Padden at Kinning Park Complex in Glasgow.
